Momentum is a DIY, community workspace in Louisville, KY where like-minded car and motorcycle enthusiasts turn wrenches in a friendly & safe environment.  All makes, models, projects, etc. are welcome in our shop.

Maintaining your own vehicle is not only cost effective but fun! We strive for you to become more familiar and confident in repairs, thereby greatly reducing or eliminating the cost of visiting your mechanic. Most shops in the Louisville area are charging $100-$200 per labor hour (some are more than that!)

​We provide assistance with your project if you need it. While we will not complete the work for you we can give you pointers & tips.  The goal is for you to maintain and repair your vehicle yourself. 

 

We have the equipment to replace engines, transmissions, mount/balance tires, and perform routine maintenance/repairs. Shop atmosphere is very laid back and encouraging. We cater to the folks that don't do this everyday!

 

We offer training classes, seminars, and special events throughout the year (checkout our events page, Facebook and Instagram).
